This thread can be used in standard industrial sewing machines, industrial machines with walking foot mechanism, fishnet mounting machines, but it can also be used in domestic machines. In fact, THIS IS THE THICKEST THREAD YOU CAN USE IN A DOMESTIC SEWING MACHINE.
With cotton covered polyester the sewing machine needle stays much cooler at high speed, than when using nylon. This reduces thread breakage.
Makers of quality curtains sometimes buy them to hand thread the curtain's bottom hem.
